From one puzzle game to another we go for my next Short Series Sunday series. Welcome to Tetris 2.

This game drastically changed the formula drastically from the first game. Instead of clearing full lines of pieces, it has become more of a "match 3" type game where you use tetrominos with different-colored pieces to line up 3 of the same color, kind of like Dr. Mario. As a result, it wasn't very well-received, but I still like it.

Like Yoshi's Cookie before it, it was released on both NES and SNES, but the SNES version added an extra element known as Puzzle Mode, where you have to clear the screen with only a certain number of pieces.
