"maniac mod" makes bosses tougher to beat, as they send more frequent attacks, and the connecter meter being harder to fill in comparison (i think?)
so basically they are buffed and you get nerfed.
this setting can only be enabled in friend matches and local matches.

tried it with LV5 CPU teammates and couldn't even get past the second boss of this area... and it's supposed to be "Easy", so i'm kinda scared of later area maniac lol
