Well, next on the chopping block of things I want to share with people who may want to know a bit more about it...and that's definitely my original thought when I heard it was over 1,000 points...

I've also decided to make use of every song and background in the game, but bear in mind that you can set the background music and graphics to whatever you want. The Tutorial in particular will mimic whatever you have set for your single player Marathon, which defaults to Tetrimino background with Korobeiniki playing. Don't worry, I didn't touch that, you can catch those in the Marathon video.

The tutorial may seem somewhat pedantic, but the important basics to take away from this are the soft drop, the hard drop, the combo, the all-clear, item use, and maybe the T-spin...

I'm not really a big fan of the T-spin with all its special conditions and explicit rewards. I'd figure that cramming a T tetrimino in a place where it otherwise couldn't reach to fill in a mistake is its own reward. It bugs me most of all how the tutorial engineers specific situations in which to use the T-spin, whereas I would figure the best policy would be to avoid the situations that would make best use of them rather than to reward creating problems just so you can T-spin your way out of them.
