Tactical Fighter eXperiment developed by Digital Image Design and relesed in 1993 by Ocean for PC MS-DOS.

A successor to F-29 Retaliator it focuses again on cutting-edge aircrafts - this time it's Eurofighter 2000, F-22 Raptor and F-117 Nighthawk.

You are flying for the UN in several flashpoints around the globe. There are several game modes - first after you enroll you have to complete training consisting of 10 increasingly complex sorties. After that you can choose between quick action Arcade mode to put your name ot a Top 10 list. Fly in selected conditions in Simulator mode. Take part in story driven Flashpoint scenarios. Assign yourself for a more realistic squadron flying one type of aircraft in Tour of Duty. You can even make your own missions in UN Commander mode which is pretty capable mission builder.

Awesome music score composed by Barry Leitch gives the game that unique feel. Here you can admire it in all its glory - I'm emulating Roland LAPC-I through Munt. Roland LAPC-I was basically an CM-32L and MPU-401 unit integrated onto an ISA board that you put inside your PC.

I'm using Simple flight model since the "Military Spec" isn't as realistic as advertised and has its quirks and strange behaviours.
