There's something fascinating about jet fighters, the high speeds, the life or death scenarios, and even the larger than life personalities of the suicidal tinderbox pilots. Project Sidewinder was my attempt to emulate a very particular kind of "Arcadey" Plane Game, one with Melodramatic Mercenaries, Dramatic Battles, and a Waltz of Missiles set to guitars. It's also a diceless RPG-Wargame Hybrid Thing because I can do that.
