That time Lars jumped to conclusions far too quickly and was wrong about Universal Deck Tracker
After this video went up I've done a few more gauntlet matches, and also rewatched this upload a couple more times and I think I was a little too quick to jump to conclusions.
At 0:40 in the video you can clearly see that neither the primal sigil or the stranger the opponent played was among the start of turn draws. (most recent draw would have been played from the right side of his hand. In this case it was very clear, but it isn't always).
I saw the reddit post from the developer of the tracker explaining how it works, that it shows the cards the opponent plays immediately at the start of the turn instead of waiting for any animations, but I was initially a bit sceptical. From the matches I've played and carefully rewatched their turns of so far, I haven't actually seen anything to disprove it, however.
Still, reddit could bloody well have explained this in the first place instead of 70% downvoting the guy. At first glance, this looked exploity as heck, especially since the ingame animations showing which card is played from the opponent's hand isn't anywhere as clear as for example in hearthstone or magic duels (in Eternal, the played card 'snaps' out making it pretty hard to see exactly which number of card it was in the opponent's hand that was played).
