Pokemon Unite the free to play Pokemon game that is free, currently only on the Nintendo Switch but it will be on mobile some time in September. The game is really fun. There isn't a lot of Pokemon's out yet, but there will a lot more Pokemons coming out as the game goes on I feel like.

Hopefully the mobile and the switch will have cross-play or I feel like the game will suffer from the lack of players as time goes on.

The main question that a lot of people are talking about is that, is the game P2W? My answer is yes it is P2W although with time the advantage goes away just like old League of Legends with the Runes. Everyone will eventually have all items maxed out with time. New players would be behind but all it would take is for them to play a lot of games to get the currency to buy and upgrade all the items.

Pros:
- Easy to learn kids game.
- Can be extremely competitive in ranks with all the 5 stacks.
- Can also be played extremely casually and no one would complain.
- A lot of different maps in Quick Play for some variety.
- Pokemon's are getting released somewhat fast with Gardevoir be the 1st one.
- Bullying kids is fun.
- No in-game chat yet so no one to yell profanities at me when I feed.

Cons:
- P2W at the start, people can start out with lvl30 items and have a huge advantage.
- I have never been big on mobile MOBA's like Wildrift and MLBB.
- No in-game chat yet so I can't yell at people when they feed.
- Some Pokemon are definitely OP compared to others
- Levels is everything, get ahead in level and you'll win.


It's fun, a different type of pokemon games, I hope it doesn't get the Pokken Tournament treatment and just get abandoned as soon as the player base drops. I have a lot of hopes for this game, if there is no cross play between mobile and the switch, the switch player base will drop and it will not be good for the game and it'll end up being a mobile only thing.
