This is a day late, I couldn't get on the computer last night.

Day One
Location: Narshe, Figaro Castle
Steps Taken: 914
Time played: 30 minutes
Total time played: 30 minutes
Characters: Terra (7) Locke (7)

Making this one video took hours, honestly. So many different emulator choices, recording options, etc... eventually I settled down and opened up the good old Snes9x 1.51 and got playing. Today was a short session, but tomorrow I have a half day in school, so I will certainly make up for this short day.

I started up my file in the 2nd slot, I had a save in the 1st slot from last year. Watched the usual cutscene which I've seen so many times... Then it was off to Narshe. I made a pretty sweet looking window, purple edges and a blue inside. I also set the battle gauge to active to make the game more challenging, along with making the battle and text speed to the fastest setting of 1. I also put all of my characters in the back row to take less damage, and I was off to fight the Narshe enemies. They were easy, all you have to do is spam fire beam and it's an overkill to any enemy at this point in the game. Don't expect to do this much damage later on, though. I made it to Whelk, easy fight. Took only the typical 6 turns to kill him, and I was off to the frozen Esper, where I watched the cutscene there. When the girl awoke in her bed, I made sure to keep her original name of Terra. Grabbed the elixir and headed out the door to the mines, eventually falling and watching yet another cutscene. Afterwards, Locke comes along with the moogles to save her. Anyone who has played this game knows to unequip Mogs mythrilshield and mythrilpike. So I did that and gave them to Locke. I didn't fight any enemies, and Marshal was easy, though I lost on moogle. I managed to steal the mythrilknife on the first try which I didn't expect. Eventually I left the mines. I went inside of the school to grab some items, and headed toward Figaro Castle to meet up with Edgar. I left and trained Terra to level 7, saved, and there is day one...
