The three most bizarre laws from ancient China

1. Qin Dynasty: Men and women under 1.52 meters are exempt from criminal prosecution under the law if they are shorter than 1.52 meters.

2. Han Dynasty: If a diner is discovered without a good reason, they will be penalized and their beef will be sliced on the spot.

3. Sui Dynasty: Candidates who do not pass the imperial exam are required by law to drink one liter of ink, and if the scroll is written and scrawled, they are required to drink an additional liter of ink.
