The Adventures of Team Normal: Setting a totally viable plan in motion
5The usual crew @JohntheDuncan @BrigitteEmpire Alasdair from Praxiscast and another English John are back at it again with some good old fashioned D&D. Last time (a long time ago now) the party teleported by the Kenku Striking Iron went to the city of Dunon, under a precarious occupation by The Sovereignty whose local resistance groups wanted to make contact with The Champion of Tempus and his forces. The party having arrived in the city decided to investigate and made their way to the now sacked Central Temple Complex dedicated to the worship of Tempus. One foul tempered encounter later alongside some encouraging words from Tempus himself the party managed to usher Angrif away from the source of his burning rage. In the evening the party made contact with the resistance who set out their demands for self-governance and their city's historic rights in exchange for direct support for The Champion. The Party also agreed to assist the local resistance, engaging in a plan that ammounted to an assassination of their target, Lucullus Rufus when he visits the city and instigating a slave revolt on the same day. We begin in the morning, the party two plans lay before them, the plan to instigate a slave revolt at the quarries within the city walls and the plan to use the gladiatorial games being thrown as a way to distract and assassinate the Legate.
