The Alliance Crusader from Lakon Spaceways in Elite Dangerous, is the second iteration of ships from the Chieftain / Type-X line, hitting the middle price point between the astonishingly good value Chieftain and the more expensive Challenger.

Question is, does it sit in an awkward middle ground, or is it worth spending your hard-earned credits on instead of buying a Chieftain.
