“No, but games based on movies are disgusting!” “I don’t even watch it because it’s a bad copy of the movie”
Don’t worry! The Amazing Spider-Man, the story to be precise, has nothing to do with the movie!
On the contrary, it is an excellent story that continues directly from the end of the movie and allows us to put on the Spider-Man mask and dangle between the rooftops of New York!
Oscorp, after the disasters of Dr. Connors (aka Lizard), has created thousands of robots that keep New York under control by scanning, and eliminating, infected or modified life forms. Like? Like Spider-Man! And there is also another problem: Oscorp, secretly, has continued the experiments on mutants, who have escaped around Manhattan infecting the entire population, including Gwen Stacy who works there!
A new story, in short, well constructed that sees the return of old enemies to stop an uncontrollable epidemic! It could be the end of superpowers for Peter Parker!
All Spider-Man games, since the 90s, have been able to give so many emotions to gamers; The Amazing Spider-Man does not disappoint and takes the game to an extraordinary level! Here we can wander around the entire city flying from one building to another, climb the highest ones, talk to the citizens, recover subjects who have escaped from the asylum, help the police and recover pages of the comic in the highest corners of the city!
Someone said: “If a superhero game doesn’t make you feel like a superhero, it’s useless”; this is not the case! In the game you feel strong, you feel like a Spider-Man and you are not afraid of anything! Then when Gwen Stacy is in danger and we have to save her, it gives us that sense of heroism that few games can give. It throws us directly into action with the classic red-blue costume, but we can return to the apartment and change it whenever we want; obviously after having unlocked another one. We can swing between the buildings with the black suit from Spider-Man 3 with Toby Mcguire or with a very elegant white suit: maybe to go out in the evening!
The Amazing Spider-Man proposes itself as a Marvel competitor to the highly acclaimed Batman Akham series and succeeds in its intent to make the game as cinematic as it is fun to play.
The Italian dubbing is not afraid of the original language, it is high quality and lets you get into the heart of the action!
With a new story, such fantastic gameplay, fun to play and great graphics, there were unresolved issues that probably also obscured its potential success. The game is full of bugs and more than once you risk losing the mission or even worse all the progress of the game up to that point, so much so that to finish it once, we had to start it 3 times!! Not that we didn't do it with pleasure to swing here and there again, but it was definitely unnerving!
Excluding this small (huge) hole, a character as dynamic as Spider-Man must not be easy to create, but the developer has definitely hit the mark by creating the best superhero game! (before Marvel's Spider-Man).

It deserves more but those bugs...!!!!!!
