Someone call Lenny Bruce, because it's the end of the world in dotAGE. The way the game is structured you cycle through a number of seasons before things just go blood red and the four "domains" that you're fighting against all put the pressure on you at the same time. If you've prepared ahead and for the worst, weathering the storm ends up a lot like waiting for the Spaceship to build at the end of Civ games and just passing turns. It's not a bad thing to reward preparation -- unless you're part of the Bourgeoisie and decide you can't be bothered to lift a finger just to save yourself. From the ashes of the end rises the Proletariat. Such is the story of an age.
Two thoughts for the game going forward: 1) I'd love to see an option for a shorter game format. As it stands 310 days takes a SERIOUS chunk of time. 2) I did get a few twists and turns with various crimes and resources just getting gutted during the game -- there's definitely more opportunities for those kind of twists in the days of the Apocalypse. There's a lot in the game now as is, but there's room to expand for sure.
