The arrival of a rival.
2In this video we see the two rivals Kyo and Iori fight each other. As always here is a story.
The year is 1995 Kyo had defeated Rugal just a few months ago. After the battle Kyo was greatly weakened. It would take him more than a few months to recover from his wounds. One day Kyo was outside training in the desert the night was coming in and Kyo was about the return home. However, this would not happen for, a challenger awaited him. His name was Iori. He was from the Yagami clan a clan that were sworn enemies of the Kusanagi clan. Iori asked Kyo for a fight he wanted to prove that he was a stronger and more experienced fighter. Kyo although accepted the challenge even though he was not in the best of shape. Kyo was not sure if he would win the battle but being a Kusanagi he could not turn down a fight offered to him by a Yagami.
WARNING DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER UNTIL YOU HAVE FINISHED VIEWING THIS CLIP. SPOILERS.
Kyo lost the battle. Iori decided to let Kyo live since he wanted to fight Kyo again in the future when he would be at full strength.
