This shows a low damage strat I used for this very difficult section. Rocket launcher to cover left and right sides of the opening with regular shots fired in both areas and spider bots deployed as soon as they become available as well as the turrets. This makes it very hard for enemies to break through.

Unfortunately the encounter glitched out as shown. I was unable to go to the next objective and had to redo the encounter before it worked. It shows the strat either way.
