The Bad Batch Episode 14 Shows How Star Wars Sets Up Gregor For Rebels + EPISODE 15 PREDICTIONS
5The Bad Batch Episode 13 has finally developed the story in a very intriguing way, giving us an episode showcasing a cameo appearance from Gregor, so we’ll be talking about him and how the show will set him up for Rebels in our last few episodes. As well, incorporated into this is next week’s episode’s predictions. Stay with me.
So, let’s catch you up briefly on Gregor. Last time we saw Captain Gregor, he was hanging out with Wolffe and Rex in Star Wars Rebels, his death even taking place in Rebels too, so we won’t have to worry about Bad Batch killing him off.
Anyway, let’s talk about Gregor’s role in these last episodes, and how the show sets him up for the Star Wars Rebels show. I think we initially have to talk about since Gregor shares the screen later on with jedis like Kanan and Ezra, it’s safe to say we could see Gregor’s chip being removed. And I know, I know, there are defective troopers out there, like what we saw with Howzer, where the chips aren’t as strong as they were when initially given order 66 in some clones, but given Wrecker’s condition where he was defective, but then the chip slowly activated later on, I think Rex or the batch will remove his chip eventually, so that is something we can expect in episode 15 or 16, when gregor finally joins up with Rex.
Speaking of, we still have two episodes left. Those episodes we have to see not only Gregor join up with Rex, but also wolffe, because wolffe is hanging out with Rex too in Rebels. In fact, earlier in the episode when Rex dispatches the bad batch to go extract Gregor, Rex says he is currently a bit preoccupied doing something else, otherwise he would go get Gregor himself. I think it’s safe to say that what Rex is so preoccupied with could be going to get Wolffe from whatever facility he may be held up in. If that’s the case, when episode 15 and 16 rolls around, we will see Rex, Wolffe and Gregor all go together which is exactly how the show will set up Star Wars Rebels. But, that means before that, in episode 16 or whatever, we will get to see Wolffe, Rex, Gregor and the bad batch all team up for an exciting climactic final battle with Crosshair and the empire. For me, I would like to see Rex have a moment between him and Darth Vader in the show, but I think that may be a stretch. Honestly, I feel like Dave Filoni should’ve made a Captain Rex tv show instead of this bad batch show.
Which leads me into my episode 15 predictions, we know that throughout the show we have had countless star wars rebels cameos, from caleb Dume, or kanan, to Hera Sindula, to Rex and most recently Gregor. All these characters, we could see in the last episode or next episode to bring everything together. Personally, in the next episode when the batch have to go and rescue Hunter from Crosshair, I could see the batch calling in backup like the Sindulas that are out there exploring the galaxy, in which we could see Cham Sindula get back to fighting, have his wife join him and have hera be the pilot that drops them off and evacs them once they get hunter.
Speaking of backup, that’s where Rex shows up with Wolffe, and Gregor joins to help the batch evac hunter.
Next episode, we will likely also see the bounty hunters Cad Bane and Fennec, and since Omega is the last pure Fett, that means she is Boba’s sister. Which means, we could likely see Boba fly into the final battle too. Episode 14 certainly has set up a lot for the final two episodes of The Bad Batch, and I’m excited to see where it finally all leads.
