10Batgirl is cancelled by Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav, and the film industry is buzzing. Even the film’s directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah were taken aback. React and Draw breaks down the news, sketches some art, and discuss the future of the DCEU!
Batgirl, starring In the Heights star Leslie Grace, was set to debut on HBO Max. However, now it seems that the $70 million dollar film won’t be seen anywhere. It’s permanently shelved as per David Zaslav’s orders, as he lays out his own plans for the DC Extended universe.
According to a New York Post source, a test screening of the film was poorly received, which if true, might significantly play into the decision to pull the movie.
