The Thief vocation is one of the BEST starter vocations in the entire game. Although it's one of the base vocations you can start with, the Thief is great for its fast-paced action, intense attacks, and epic finishers. The skills are absolutely fantastic when it comes to the Thief vocation and I find that it's also a great vocation to get used to the game with and a great vocation to keep using in the game. I totally recommend starting with the Thief.
