The Best Way To Grow Your YouTube Channel Is...
There is one major factor stopping you from growing your YouTube gaming channel to get more views and get more subscribers. Failing to address this factor is the main reason your YouTube Gaming Channel won't grow.
Discoverability is that factor. In order for your channel to grow, people have to be able to find it. YouTube has no system in place to measure how good your content is outside of watch time, views and engagement. The only way you can get any of those three things is by actually getting people to watch your videos.
The challenge with many channels that I work with is that you want to focus your content on very specific niche gaming experiences that very few people are looking to watch. This can be a good thing once you have successfully grown your channel. But, in the early stages of growth you really have to focus on making content that will attract viewers.
So, if you were planning to do that Shrek 2 Gamecube let's play, you may want to hold off until you've grown an
audience large enough to make that type of video successful.
