Many YouTubers earn a living creating YouTube content. In a recent article on Gamesindudstry, one YouTuber even tried to charge a publisher up to $22,000 just to make a video talking about their game.

I'm okay with gaming youtubers earning a living (and maybe even youtube gamers charging for videos), but I'm not sure I'm okay with the precedent this could set if more creators begin to behave this way.

YouTube is a platform by the people for the people. When money starts changing hands like this, there could easily be severe conflicts of interest and gamers being mislead to believe a game is better than what it is.
