Any game that even remotely resembles RuneScape has my interest, and Black Grimoire: Cursebreaker, which is often called a single-player MMoRPG, is no exception. How so? In Black Grimoire: Cursebreaker, we have the exact same mechanics as Ultima or RuneScape, but in single-player, with the ability to meet other players but without interacting with them. Does that make sense? On the one hand, the beginning of the game in Black Grimoire: Cursebreaker is very similar to RuneScape – we have 14 skills, 4 for combat, which we level up as we please and in any way we want. Unfortunately, Black Grimoire: Cursebreaker has very little content for its price and relies on numerous simple videos and trivially idiotic quests. It has its merits, but the game also doesn't plan on developing dynamically – too few updates, too small, and seemingly only one major free expansion.
