The Bluebell Railway is one of the most famous steam railways in Europe. It was one of the first heritage lines to be preserved and opened to the public in 1960. It’s a 22-mile return trip from East Grinstead to Sheffield Park and there are four stops along the line, all in Sussex, which is south-east of London.

There’s something so romantic and nostalgic about travelling on a steam train that thrills both children and adults alike.
