Dread Templar is finally out of its very successful Early Access run, and the polish gathered along the way has made it a fantastic game. A great arsenal and a varied selection of enemies make for satisfying combat, especially when combined with the bullet time meter. But where the game shines the brightest is in its level design. Tons of secrets, non-linear levels mixed with well-paced setpiece arenas, and loads of visual variety give this game some of the best maps I've seen in a boomer shooter. Well worth the asking price.
