Jupiter Hell is the spiritual successor to DoomRL, the excellent, long-running classic Doom roguelike. It uses a simplified control scheme and old-school true roguelike mechanics to create a really nice, depthy experience based around ranged combat with increasingly horrible demons. A large selection of weapons, upgrades, perks, artifacts and random enhanced loot combine with a really nice variety of enemies to create an excellent classic feeling roguelike. It's basically chess with demons and guns. Highly recommended.
