It's a 2.5D side scrolling hack & slash souls-like game. We can't seem to rebind gamepad buttons and using triggers are not as quick as using bumpers. Enemies use either red or blue elements and you need to use either the left or right trigger button based on which colour. Some enemies will only take damage if you match the correct colour while performing a perfect parry. You can empower parry or special moves, but to use your special ability requires a filled power bar and performing any action uses stamina. You do get a dash and air dash, only a single jump, but also a guard. If you fall in battle then your stats decrease and there is a random chance it will be a perma-death. Unfortunately, if you do respawn then your special power bar and health potions aren't refilled.
