The Computer Programme - Communications & Media in 1982 | Nostalgia Nerd
The BBC's Computer Programme, episode 5, which first aired on 8th February 1982. This episode explores "The New Media", and we delve into the new fangled world of communications and media with the latest of 1982 technology. As usual Chris Serle and Mac take us along for this journey looking at the Prestel System, offering an early type of messaging that we'd probably call emailing today. Mac also goes down to the Wild West (kinda) and looks at morse code by telegraph wire. It's all happening.
