The Crew 2 - "Road Samurai" Summit (Top Run / Platinum Guide) - All Events!
The fifteenth week of The Crew 2 Hot Shots is going on and this week we got the "Road Samurai" Summit, where you can win another special edition of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X. Here you can see how to get top results in all 9 events of this Summit, which will not only easily get you into the platinum ranks but even much higher than that. :)

This week we got another Japan-focused Summit, where all of the regular events require the use of a specific Japanese vehicle. As a reward we can win another special edition of the Evo X, which sadly looks quite similar to the first one.
The Escape skill is yet another one with the backwards direction being faster, so make sure to turn around for it. The Speedtrap is in the middle of an intersection, so you can hit it from all 4 sides and the default one is not the best here either. Note that the Drag car behaves a bit randomly with double nitrous and sometimes gets an insane boost but most of the time it does not, so don't worry if you can only hit around 640 like in my first clip. This is the normal case.
The regular events are all pretty normal. As usual you can gain a lot more points in the Drag event by playing in a crew. The Drift event is probably the hardest one that we had so far but getting a full combo should still be quite possible if you are careful and that's all that really matters for the Summit score.
The Misubishi race has some crazy cuts at the start that you can see in Akor's video if you still need additional points but they might not be that easy.
Since people keep asking about the performance parts I will summarize the basics once more: For Low Altitude skills you use parts with skill point bonus and the legendary skill set if you have it. For Drift events you use parts with "Slippery" and "Hothead" bonuses. For the other events in this Summit you use parts with nitrous bonuses and the legendary nitrous set if you have it. For the bike event you can also try parts with "Bender" bonus if you want to.
In terms of pro settings you can use my standard setup for all 3 car races, with the last 4 sliders changed as seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sU1858VPzk&t=1m28s (and everything else on default)
Hopefully this guide will help some of you improve some of your scores and your overall leaderboard rank as a result. If you didn't manage to get the Red Fury Evo some months ago, then maybe you can get this slightly different one now instead. :)
