The Crew 2 - "The Big Apple" Summit (Top Run / Platinum Guide) - All Events!
205The seventeenth week of The Crew 2 Hot Shots is going on and this week we got the "The Big Apple" Summit, where all the events take place in and around New York. Here you can see how to get top results in all 9 events of this Summit, which will not only easily get you into the platinum ranks but even much higher than that. :)

This week we got a pretty nice Summit with a lot of short and simple events.
For the first time in a while we got a Tarmac Slalom skill again. Various disciplines are viable here with Street Race, Alpha GP, Hypercar and Touring Car, so use the one where you have a higher skill point bonus or whatever you prefer if you have the same bonus for multiple.
The Aerobatics skill is a bit more difficult than some of the previous ones but still very easy to max out, since the time limit is lenient.
We got two track events with the Huracan touring car, which is pretty nice to drive. We also got an event for the regular Huracan, since the snow makes it faster than the bikes. On this track we also got a bunch of shortcut options. Finally we got another race with the Ferrari F40 and it's a nice car choice for this track, since the forest cut is relatively manageable with this car. On the other hand the landing of the big jump can be a bit random with it.
The boat event is very short and very high speed, so you can try making some additional tweaks to the setup to gain extra speed at the cost of handling. You can try increasing buoyancy and/or reducing hull friction for example. I don't know the ideal setting myself though, so I don't have any exact values to share. Just see what works best for you.
The plane event is also very short but still quite difficult.
Since people keep asking about the performance parts I will summarize the basics once more: For Slalom and Aerobatics skills you use parts with skill point bonus and the legendary skill set if you have it. For the other events in this Summit you use parts with nitrous bonuses and the legendary nitrous set if you have it.
