The Crimson Cage issue #2 REVIEW | Is This a Dagger I See Before Me?
My comic book review of The Crimson Cage #2 written by John Lees with art by Alex Cormack. Published by AWA Studios, released Wednesday January 19th 2022 for $3.99.
The Crimson Cage sounds like a crazy idea: a reimagining of Macbeth viewed through the lens of American pro wrestling in the 1980s. But I'm totally in after reading the first two issues. I think issue 2 is even better than issue 1. Indie comics at their best!
This is one of the reasons I love the medium of comics so much. When a story comes out of nowhere and grabs your attention, pulls you straight into its world, gets you invested in the characters.
