Discovered this bug when I played the game for the first time as a kid on standard mode.
The Biscuit is required for game progression later on and was required for you to bite down on in Mega Monkey mode. But if you try to bite into the biscuit on standard mode, the biscuit will just disappear from your inventory and renders the game impossible to beat.
Tested on both the unpatched original on Windows XP and the patched version from GOG in ScummVM.
The footage was taken from the GOG release running on ScummVM.
