Part 13 - The Worst Ending I've Ever Seen
So here we are, at the final mission in the game. We storm one final castle on our crusade to find the shroud of Turin, which is the missing relic that Montferrat needs to take over the world. Denz and Esteban are now in possession, and make a pact to head to Egypt, to find Denz's father, and help put an end to this curse once and for all. Next time? In another game that's never coming? Because even though we seem like we are gearing up for an epic final confrontation, the final "mission" is nothing more than a cutscene where we see Denz's father confronted by Montferrat, then a cut to black. No resolution on how the fight goes, no clarity on Denz and Esteban's fate, no end to the story. That's all we get. The game was fun, but man, did it have some flaws. Either way, I hope you enjoyed watching this slog through an 11 year old game, and I hope you'll join me in the next game, whichever that may be.
