After news broke yesterday, it's official that Mixer will be shutting down in July as Microsoft has announced a merger with Facebook Gaming. Microsoft Gaming partners were not told of the announcement in advance, leaving many to be both stunned and caught off guard. While both Ninja and Shroud are free to go back to Twitch, or anywhere else, not all partners have that same luxury, as Facebook Gaming did not offer exclusive contracts for the biggest Mixer names. We sit down with former Mixer Partner, Sithos to talk about how Mixer announced the news to their community.
