About me: Hi Everyone my name is Chad but online I go by Solsunforge I am a 39-year-old Navy Veteran. I served on the U.S.S Abraham Lincoln from 2001 to 2005. I served 3 tours of duty (Operation Enduring Freedom Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Southern Watch) and am a Golden Shellback which means I crossed the equator and the international date line at the same time.I have met ex-president George W Bush. Places I have been to in the Navy: Hong Kong, Singapore, Bahrain, Australia, Thailand, Indonesia(for humanitarian aid due to the Tsunami) Pearl Harbor Hawaii, Canada, and San Diego.
I started playing d&d in the Navy and encountered what I now know was the very worst kind of dm; the power-tripping egomaniac who enjoyed torturing his players. After that experience, I took a step back from d&d entirely for about 8 months as I read the rulebooks as much as possible and determined that no one I played with would ever feel that way again. This is how I became a forever DM as players in other shipmates' campaigns migrated to mine. I am here to teach you and provide easy-to-follow examples so that you can be the player or the DM you would like to be even if you are a shy introvert you can do it I have faith in you.
I am uncertain if people even read these descriptions but if you do then you will know more about me than almost all of my viewers off of this description alone. I generally keep to myself unless it is something I am passionate about. I multitask like crazy and actually prefer to do multiple things at once.
