The Distortus Rex and Indominus Rex - How are they Related?
The Distortus rex is very large t rex mutant, 8 meters or 26 ft tall and 14.5m or 47ft long, which makes it bigger than a regular Tyrannosaurus and even bigger than a Spinosaurus or even a Giganotosaurus.
Since this dinosaur is a mutant, we can rule out the possibility of these deformities actually being due to a conjoined twin issue. See, there are conjoined twins in many animal species incl. us, and there are some with two heads and a single body while there are those with a single head and extra pair of arms or legs.
IT was revealed in an article that the Distortus rex was created before 2010, since the prologue scene of it escaping its containment and where we see the hapless lab worker being used as a window wiper was in the year 2010 and since it was already a huge creature at that point in time that means that it would have likely been a couple of years old.
So, in any case, that puts the creation of the Distortus rex at the very least 3 to 4 years before the Indominus rex and if you think about it, the Scorpios rex was also created before the Indominus rex, it was created by Dr. Henry Wu as part of his "E750 Clinical Trials" specifically for display at Jurassic World on Isla Nublar. It was his first successful attempt at creating a hybrid dinosaur and this was in 2009.
