As I mentioned in my last video, there has been a huge influx of new players to the division and with new players come questions. One question I get asked is what gear/weapons should I keep. This is actually a very hard question to answer because it all depends on what you are looking for, but since you are new and don't know what to look for, I'll do my best and recommend a few items I would look to keep if I was a fresh 40.

Before we begin, I want to give a couple of disclaimers.

I am not going to talk about specific builds in this video. Just the gear/weapons to look for. I'll make some more videos in the future with specific builds in them

Please remember, first and fore most you paid for the game, so you play it the way you want to. However, with that being said, this is my video and I have a very strong opinion on certain play styles. I will never tell anyone they are stupid but I will disagree on certain gear choices.

I am also going to only focus on PvE and not talk about what to keep for PvP.

Now time to trigger some people.

I will also only focus on Red dps items because the only time you should be using blue armor pieces in PvE is when tanking in the iron horse raid. You cannot and will not ever convince me that your hybrid build with a couple of armor pieces does even close to the damage an all red build can do.

I will also not mention any yellow skill items either because lets be honest skill builds are for niche roles that as a new player you are not ready yet for and they also promote laziness and since you are a newer player, you need to learn how to move and use cover without staying in cover while a drone or turret does all the work for you.
