For those who dont know, Im The Colonels ggg nephew, Im Kin to the Sanders name and im a Kentucky Colonel, when i was younger i came across a group online on Facebook that was impersonating my uncle, i thought it was weird and i wanted to know more so when they reached out to my comment i communicated, some of them like miller came across pushy, and some like thayer seemed nice, Thayer worked with kids with illness and disabilities like i have, so that touched close to home and i rewarded his work with a nomination for colonel, he swooned me into writing a Poor written letter saying i endorsed him to dress like my uncle, mistake on my end... but whats done is done, after i nominated another look alike he lost his marbles and went off on me for it, (Its a kentucky colonels duty to nominate other folks) well long story short he blocked me, and he still claimed my family endorsed him, both in person, facebook and his website... We got back in contact and i got a apology, things were going good until another impersonator i dont like Miller, came back to the picture at a look alike contest. (Now Miller my issues stem from him lying about his relation to kfc and franchises and his nerve to threaten to have other look alikes thrown out of a franchise if they showerd up, i have a issue with how he used me for information and falsley promised items of my uncles to me in return, big red flag was when he showed up to AGT Audition in orlando but thats another story for another day) Anyways thayer lied to miller and told him I WAS SUING HIM! wtf??? i told thayer he needed to apologize and retract his statement, he went on how i needed to tell these other guys whos ENDORSED by my family... i said "I endorse no one and niether does my family, first time you blocked me that endorsment went out the window" as i got older i saw these old grown men and their behavior for what it was, Bizzar and disturbing, i cut ties with them and made it clear we dont approve of any impersonations today or future due to the childish drama they pulled me into.. its embarassing and not a good representation of my family or brand... Thayer blocked me and my family, same as miller after i told him i learned of his lies too and confirmed there was no lawsuit... (this wasnt like me joking about kfc suing me, this was a threat and scare tatic thayer used against miller to try to keep him away from a lookalike contest) Its been about 3 years since my last contact with either men, but ive seen them reach to be in the news and local papers as the colonel or top impersonator... Thayer claims my family still endorses him (we made it clear we DO NOT Endorse him... and he still publ;icly acts as if we are buddies when we are NOT after his behavior i want no contact with him, and i sure dont want him professionally representing kfc i think it will be a mistake and look bad on their end having such a represenative, i can do much better, im passionate about MY family history and the brand and im a real sanders i have the genes i dont have to make myself look like one :)
