In this episode we continue through Winter with no water, no way to brew drinks and a dwindling supply of alcohol. The dwarven wine is running dangerously low. If it gets too low we shall start dehydrating and dwarves will die in the corridors and halls, vomit will be found which will cause more vomiting until the dead are buried in caskets in the crypt. Does this happen in this episode? Probably.
On happier news, the drawbridge lever is finally made with the use of stone mechanisms. It is connected to the draw bridge and now it actually functions, open and closing when the lever is pulled. The fact that the wall is only one high however, means that potentially creatures would be able to climb over. For some reason we are not seeming to make stone blocks.
We have created the empty underground space for a water reservoir, so hopefully that will be filled up when the ice thaws out.
We actually did quite a lot, we created an actual tavern, the last place that we thought was a tavern was actually just the dining hall. The tavern has started to attract humans to come and visit, mace men and bards! People are also reciting poetry in there!
Another thing that we did was to dig down about 20 layers / levels and deep down we created a temple to no specific deity. I think we have to smooth the stone out and maybe put some statues in there to make it more fancy and then it might turn from a shrine level temple into an actual temple level temple.
We sorted out some of the ALL type stockpiles to have less things in there that we don't need, such as dead rats.
We are playing in the same generated 100 year old world as the last episode and in the same fort set in the age of myth with over 12 thousand characters of note in the world who we will most likely never get to meet because of how huge the world is!
We still have not finished the protective wall around our entrance, we need to finish that before danger arrives! Maybe in the next episode!
I'm having loads of fun with this game, I hope you enjoy the video!
