Let me explain what is going on.
As you know, when you stand too close to a marauder he'll attempt to knock you back with his super shotgun. Howewer, there's a short window of time where if you shoot at him, he'll cancel the weapon draw animation to raise the shield and protect himself. Turns out he's not really that fast at it.
I'd say that 50% of the times (I think it's more but I always prefer to undersell) he won't be able to parry that shot. But even if he does, he'll try again to ssg so we can simply keep shooting.
Both ssg-pb and ballista-pb have the correct speed to pull this off, but if the swaps are a tiny bit too slow he'll actually hit you. Don't worry though, just dash in his face again and never stop your swaps.
Only his dash-away animation can ruin the ""combo"", but in 50+ attempts I've only seen him do it once. I also tried on different marauders and not only on the Taras Nabad one, just to be sure.
