An eternal curse upon these avian creatures. How absurd to walk about minding ones business only to be assaulted by these diseased-ridden pests. Not only have I come close to losing my very life in a deadly encounter with bandits in a cave, but I bar the door and try to find respite only to encounter these creatures descending from the heavens above to finish me off.
Have you abandoned me Talos? Have the Nine Divines themselves forsaken me? In my pitiful attempt to perform good deeds, I have instead brought down the wrath of some Aedra seeking to end my existence. Was it because I distracted myself too much by helping others around me rather than finishing whatever mundane task the Imperial Cult had set before me?
Alms for the poor. A pittance of a number is required for me to meet the goal and even so, I have taken out of my own pocket to say "I have DOUBLED it". I grow weary of these tasks and yet I cannot help but keep going, hoping that there is an end to this madness. I am a soldier, not a layman.
