It would seem that my kind-hearted nature has nearly led me to my doom. Once more, in service for the Imperial Cult, I found myself I was near Ald Velothi when I noticed this beautiful woman near a pond. She had informed me that her ring had fallen into the pond and asked if I could get it for her. Naturally, I agreed to help.

This would prove to be a fatal mistake as she and another friend of hers had ambushed me in an attempt to murder and loot my corpse. I had won the fight and acquired a powerful charged item, but this made me rethink my very nature. I always tried to be helpful when possible and it would seem at times this is not the correct way to approach most tasks. I must be less naive and more aware of my surroundings.
