Today we have the honor of talking about The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, the reimagining of the 2006 classic that visually updates the cult classic, Skyrim's predecessor, with some quality-of-life improvements.
Set on the continent of Tamriel, specifically in the imperial province of Cyrodiil, the game puts the player in the role of a prisoner who, after an unexpected encounter with Emperor Uriel Septim, is drawn into an epic quest to close the portals to hell—known as "Oblivion"—that threaten to destroy the world.
With unprecedented freedom for its time, Oblivion allows you to explore a vast world filled with cities, dungeons, factions, and decisions that affect character development and the story. Its progression system, deep lore, and ambitious scale marked a turning point in Western RPGs.
