To celebrate the imminent release of the Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny remaster, we're sharing a fun fact that perhaps not everyone knows.
The first Onimusha was conceived and began development for the original PlayStation under the name Sengoku Biohazard, inspired by Capcom's flagship Resident Evil.
The title eventually ended up being released for PlayStation 2 and later for Xbox under the name Genma Onimusha, with a subsequent remaster in 2018 for newer platforms.
