Karma: The Dark World is a first-person psychological thriller set in a 1984-inspired dystopia, where the Leviathan Corporation controls every aspect of life. We play Daniel McGovern, an agent of the Department of Thought, tasked with investigating crimes by accessing suspects' memories using advanced technology.
The narrative explores themes such as mind control, media manipulation, and the loss of identity, with references to works such as George Orwell's 1984 and Aldous Huxley's Brave New World. The game combines exploration, puzzle-solving, and stealth elements, allowing the player to delve into the characters' minds to uncover the hidden truth behind each case.
Developed with Unreal Engine 5, it offers detailed environments and an oppressive atmosphere, complemented by a soundtrack designed to reinforce the narrative intensity.
