Ok so, in less than one week, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s final DLC fighter is going to be revealed. Just saying that is pretty crazy as we’ve been talking about Newcomers and DLC fighters for over 3 years.

Alright so, since the 9th of March in 2018 which is when Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was first revealed, people have not stopped talking about possible fighters for the game. Whether that’s who the day one newcomers will be, or who the fighters in the first fighter’s pass will be, or who the fighters in the second fighters pass will be.

This conversation about possible fighters has literally gone on for 3 and a half years, that’s over 1300 days, like it’s insane how long we’ve been talking about this and honestly I don’t know how I feel about Smash Ultimate’s DLC coming to an end.

On one hand I’m really tired of hearing people talk about who they want as DLC fighters and all the backlash that comes when a new fighter is revealed is kind of sad. But then on the other hand, it’s pretty sad that this is going to be the final DLC fighter, I don’t know how to explain it, not having a DLC fighter to look forward to will be weird.

Also in case there are some people that think there’s going to be a third fighter’s pass. No, just no, there’s not going to be another fighter’s pass.

It would be wrong of me to make a video about Smash Ultimate’s DLC without touching on who I want as the final DLC fighter and well, I guess i’m in the wrong as I’m not going to be talking about who I want as the final DLC fighter and instead I’ll talk about who I do not want as the final DLC fighter.

Fire emblem characters, there’s already too many of them and so we don’t need anymore of them, also the backlash and toxicity that will come with a Fire Emblem character being the final DLC fighter will be horrible.

Now I’m a pretty big Pokémon fan so I wouldn’t mind another Pokémon joining Smash Ultimate but I really don’t want it to be a Pokémon from gen 8. All of the gen 8 Pokémon have such boring designs and there are just so many other Pokémon that are much more worthy of a spot on the roster. Also why do so many people want Cinderace? Like I just don’t understand.

Any characters from mobile games just don’t belong in smash in my opinion. Smash Ultimate is made up of gaming icons and I don't think any mobile games have characters that you could consider ‘iconic’.

Then to top it off a few more characters that I don’t want in Ultimate as the final DLC fighter are: Dixie Kong as we already have Diddy Kong, Paper Mario as we’ve already got two Mario’s and Tom Nook as I would rather see a brand new series be represented rather than an already represented series getting another fighter.
