The extinction of the dinosaurs or the K-T extinction event
4Hey everyone, this month's educational video is on another extinction event which is the most talked about. It is the K-T extinction event also called the Cretaceous–Tertiary extinction or Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event. In other words, it's the event that killed the non-avian dinosaurs. But what exactly caused the event well we will go over that and some of the creatures that lived during that time. Most likely the event was caused by an asteroid/meteorite that hit the earth causing tsunamis, dust, debris and fires. So, we will go over that and talk a little about everyone's favorite dinosaur the T-Rex and also the Plesiosaur both being dinosaurs that died during this event.
