MY REVIEW:
After playing through for this series initially, reviewing the footage again while editing, and playing through again casually in guerrilla mode, these are the things I did not like about the game:
1) No noticeable grenade/tube drop
2) Having to wait for people to open doors. I'm sure it's there for loading reasons or something, but it's frustrating when all I want to do is rush through and get to shootin some more bad guys
3) How short the game was. It was fine for me, I personally prefer shorter games for recording but if I paid 60 bucks for this when it came out I would have been a little disappointed. Then again it was a really good game that I'm now doing my third playthrough of.
4) That they never developed the story of Connor/Rianna; that she was very torn up about how violent and relentless he was being. They kind of did when she started to give less of a duck after they killed Boone but still that could've went somewhere more and I feel like it was never really "resolved"
5) A lot of recycled animations- knocking over a fridge-shaped thing or kicking in a door
6) Respawning with set guns instead of the guns I had. Pretty sure this happened a couple times. I'd have to review the footage again to be sure but that's not cool if it did happen
7) In the moments where you have to be sneaky- if you accidentally blow your cover if just fails you for the mission and you have to start over. I remember in COD 4 during the ghilisuit missions you'd have to fight everybody and then the dude would just scold you. I would have rather seen something like that.

Also for the record: We covered Goliath in C4 and blew it up to get through the wall, that one was one of theirs at the end; like hopper actually said. I just didn't hear him because I was caught up in the fancy idea that they took our Goliath friend and we had to kill it to win. Whatevs.

Final words; Despite the complaints listed above, I really enjoyed this game a lot (I mean I'm on my third playthrough of it now) and I am SO STOKED for Homefront: The Revolution (especially since I live in Philly where it takes place). This was probably the best $1.43 I've ever spent, and if you can find this game cheap I'd totally recommend getting it to run through when you're bored. I liked all of the guns and the characters and the story and the bad guys I don't know I just really enjoyed it and how easy going it feels. And that's my critique.
