The Flash Season 4 Episode Review - Subject 9

Two weeks away and what we get is an episode that is okay. Good but okay at best.
Barry and his team found another of the bus metas and this one has the power to use sound as a weapon, to the point where it actually can hurt DeVoe. DeVoe however has to deal with a body that can’t hold all the powers she had gained and needs a new one to keep herself from breaking down. It’s a battle now to project a woman and not even that will be enough to stop DeVoe.
The episode is okay… problematic, issue-filled but okay. I enjoyed it since the characters did help but the writing is the problem. We meet The Fiddler Izzy Bowin and she is an interesting character. Too bad she ends up being a plot device used so that DeVoe can possess her body. The sub-plot was interesting and the actors did good, despite all they can. The writing is a real problem here and I only wish that it can be fixed.
