In 1960, ABC started airing an animated sitcom telling the story of a stone age family. The Flintstones would go on to have over 160 episodes across six seasons. It holds the accolade of being the first animated series to be aired in prime time (decades before The Simpsons would go on to conquer television). Fast forward a bit, oh let’s say 33 years to 1993 and we have their second outing of three total, on a Sega platform, titled simply, “The Flintstones” by Taito (they handled the Nintendo Entertainment System games as well).
