This technically isn't the first episode in the series, but it's the most recent and the most enjoyable episode we've had so far. Here's the story so far:

Four people, a human Warlock named Elliot, a bugbear Rogue named Haiza, an elven Druid named Innavar, and a halfling Rogue named Sara, were arrested and taken to a prison below the town of Redianor, which is run independently from the nation of Daecarabys. By some twist of fate, be it faulty mechanics in the old prison or divine intervention, their cell door swings open by itself on the third day they spend in the prison. The four manage to sneak your way out of the prison, busting a few heads on the way in a dangerous bout with a large amount of the guards hired to keep the prison in check, and finally reached the light of day once more. Upon reaching the surface, they encounted Catrina Red, the mayor of Redianor. She claimed that because Redianor is an independent town, she doesn't care about their backgrounds as felons, and insists that they stay in the city under her protection.

The four made their way through the streets of Redianor to find The Wacky Peon Pub, which has an inn on its second floor. They got acquainted with its owner, a tall elven man by the name of Pharom, who was friendly enough, but seemed to understand what circumstances brought them to the town before allowing them all to stay in his inn. Later that night, an aspiring hero by the name of Aivyn, who'd been staying in the same inn, received a gentle nudge from his own sources to join the group and assist them in facing the "great destiny" they have ahead as runaways and even potential mercenaries. The next morning, Aivyn joins as they all head to Catrina's house for more information. They encounter a large group of guards from the prison, and Sara manages to convince their leader that she's one of them to avoid any suspicion, and gets them off the group's case. Upon entering Catrina's house, she proposes two jobs to the five to not only assist the people of Redianor, but to earn a bit of money. The first is to head into the Aegore Mountains and obtain some ore for the town blacksmith Ghidri Rattlecrap, and the second is to use the weapons he makes to slay the werewolves that have been prowling about the outskirts of town. When last we left off, their first order of business was to talk to the blacksmith Ghidri and get more details on the job before heading into the Aegore Mountains aimlessly.
