The GameCola Podcast #92: The Singing Podcast
DISCLAIMER: There is singing in this podcast. We recorded most of it over Skype, in a single take, without warming up first. Only the best for our listeners.
In this unconventional installment of The GameCola Podcast, Anna Bryniarski, Joseph Martin, Nathaniel Hoover, Shannon Hoover, and Stefano Wohsdioghasdhisdg discuss videogame music (with some sound clips here and there for reference), occasionally offering up some singing and instrumenting of their own. Here's a sample of what's in store:
- Meteo Xavier's "Five Is Average" like you've never heard it before, and may never choose to hear it again. We had fun, at least.
- Musical introductions for each of our podcast attendees.
- Waking up to the soothing sounds of Super Mario 64.
- Music to edit by.
- Binge-listening the Kid Icarus: Uprising soundtrack.
- Doot doo doot doo doot, doo doo doo doot doo doot doo doot
- Anna has a problem. This statement intentionally left vague.
- Undertale. I feel like it's sufficient to just say "Undertale."
- We are the lazy generation.
- Make believe this game is fun!
- Sonic and the Secret Rings: the secret is to mute the game and sell it back to GameStop.
- Pokémon is musically clever.
- Morrowind has amazing music, but we want more.
- RPG themes!
- Stefano is not very far in EarthBound.
- Diana is a fan of Adriana Figueroa.
- Nightshade. On Tuba. As a solo duet.
- The merits of fast music done slowly.
- Songs we can't stand now.
- So you say you want a (Karaoke) revolution?
- Ukulele! Just because.
- We beat Mega Man 2, apparently.
